Bill is introduced
Once the bill has been made, it is introduced to the House of Representatives, which is then sent to the standing committees
To the Committee
When sent to the proper committee, each member reviews it and vote on it. If it passes it is sent back to the floor. If more information is needed it is sent to a sub committee.
Debated
Once the bill is sent back to the House floor it is then debated on, and make changes if necessary.
Voting on the Bill
If a majority of the representatives pass the bill it is then sent to the Senate
The Senate
When the bill reaches the Senate, they will debate it, make changes if necessary, and if it is passed will send it to the President
To the President
When the bill reaches the President he has three choices: approve the bill, veto the bill, or not do anything about it (known as Pigeon Holding).
If he passes the bill, it becomes law.
If he passes the bill, it becomes law.

If the President approves it, the bill becomes law
